Symposium on Hierarchy and Holism in Natural Sciences

General Information

The Symposium on Hierarchy and Holism in Natural Sciences (SHH2015) will be held on February 5-6, 2016 at the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan. The aim of this symposium is to bring together natural scientists working in astrophysics, plasma and fusion science, and molecular science, and discuss interdisciplinary topics on multi-hierarchy simulation and its applications to natural science, especially focusing on ongoing collaboration programs on astro-biology, magnetic reconnection, molecular dynamical simulation and its applications. The symposium consists of several sessions on interdisciplinary topics, in which a few invited and oral talks are included.

The symposium is organized by the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan, the National Institute for Fusion Science, and the Institute for Molecular Science under the interdisciplinary research cooperation program "Hierarchy and Holism in Natural Sciences" which is supported by the National Institutes of Natural Sciences (NINS).

The conference hall is located at the Mitaka campus of the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan. We would like to invite you to participate in this symposium.
